The biannual migration of birds across Israel is one of the most beautiful sights to enjoy. Twice yearly some 500 million birds fly through the country on their way to summer and winter nesting and feeding sites.
Even in the busy city of Tel Aviv you can see cranes, pelicans and dozens of other types of birds flying in over the sea on their long and exhausting journey to and from Africa and Europe.
