Many shoppers in his overseas stores assume he’s Chinese because of his surname, but leading women’s fashion designer Ronen Chen is 100 percent Israeli (“chen” means “grace” in Hebrew).
Chen joined ISRAEL21c reporter Viva Sarah Press at TLV1 Radio to talk about his celebration of 20 years in the fashion industry. He reveals, among other things, that he meant to become an architect.
