The Linkin Park rock stars toured Jerusalem as a warm-up to their first concert in Israel, which took place in Tel Aviv’s Hayarkon Park last night.

Fans said the group, which recently won the MTV 2010 award for Best Live Performance, put on an amazing show.

Vocalist Chester Bennington, rapper/shredder Mike Shinoda, drummer Rob Bourdon, lead guitarist Brad Delson, bass player David “Phoenix” Farrell and Joseph “Mr.” Hahn on turntables and programming of the California nu metal rap rock group toured some of the main historical and religious sites in Jerusalem yesterday, including the Western Wall, as guests of the Israel Ministry of Tourism.

Some 15,000 fans converged on the open-air venue in Hayarkon Park last night to hear the band.
