Street theater in Jerusalem’s Old City takes on a new flavor during the four-week Knights in the Old City Festival. Starting this Thursday, visitors should beware that fire-spitting dragons, jousting knights, princesses, medieval characters and battle scenes are set to take over the ancient alleyways of Jerusalem’s Old City.

Local musicians, theater artists and acrobats will be joined by performers from the Italian Carnival of Venice for the event that is scheduled to run in the evenings of October 18 and 25, and November 1 and 8.

This year’s theme is Knights and Dragons so visitors can expect some blazing shows.
