Elbit Systems recently unveiled a new cyber security simulator that helps in the prevention of cyber warfare events.

The system was developed specifically for the training of government, military and critical civilian infrastructure cyber defense agencies, to enable personal and group training of the different users in locating, handling and managing various cyber warfare events and attacks.

Elbit Systems has significantly invested in recent years in the development of new cyber technologies and has been active in the fields of network and system protection, cyber command and control systems, cyber protection of critical civilian infrastructure and the development of special algorithms designated to identify various cyber warfare attacks, said Bezhalel (Butzi) Machlis, General Manager- Elbit Systems Land and C4I Division.

It includes various network protection scenarios and allows debriefing and evaluation sessions in order to draw conclusions from the trainees’ training performance.

Reports say that an unnamed international customer and the IDF have already purchased the new system.

The company said international interest in the new simulator is high thanks to Elbit’s proven track record of know-how and experience in the field.
