Actor James Van Der Beek, most famous for his title role as Dawson Leery on the popular television show “Dawson’s Creek,” decided to go for a Jewish wedding ‘all the way,’ and married Kimberly Brook, his girlfriend and previous business consultant who is carrying his child, on Sunday in Israel.

The couple arrived in time for the birthday celebrations of Rabbi Shraga Berg, founder of the Kabbalah Center in Jerusalem and famous teacher of Madonna and other celebrities.

The small ceremony was held at the Kabbalah Center in Tel Aviv where Berg’s son, Rabbi Yehuda Berg, officiated. Berg junior also married Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher.

The wedding was held in secret during the evening hours near Dizengoff Square in the city center. Close friends flown in on a private flight attended. Katie Holmes, James’ co-star on “Dawson’s Creek,” was not among them.

The bride arrived at the Kabbalah Center wearing black, concealing her baby bump behind a dress bag that presumably contained her wedding gown. Van Der Beek wore white from head to toe.

For their honeymoon, the newlyweds are to tour Israel’s holy sites and visit the graves of the righteous in Jerusalem and the Galilee.
