The seventh Tel Aviv Nike Night Run gets underway today (October 29) and some 20,000 joggers are expected to take part.

Runners will set off at Rabin Square in the center of the city and make their way over to HaYarkon Park.

The route passes cafes and shops along the main Ibn Gvirol Road thoroughfare and heads east through the city’s green lung.

The event – produced by Nike and the municipality — will end with music shows and a huge happening.

Tel Aviv hosts a number of running events and races through city streets including the Tel Aviv Samsung Marathon International and the Gillette Marathon.
