Israeli UAV maker to supply surveillance systems to Mexican policeIsraeli UAV maker Aeronautics Defense Systems is to supply advanced surveillance and intelligence systems to Mexico’s federal police force in a deal worth $22.5 million.
Under the terms of the agreement, Aeronautics will provide day and night ground and airborne surveillance systems that can identify and pinpoint people from as far away as eight kilometers. These will be linked to computerized command and control systems.
Yavne-based Aeronautics, which is owned by Aharon and Avi Shaked, develops protection systems for law enforcement agencies.
