Three Tehran businessmen are expected to attend the upcoming Agritech -Tel Aviv’s 18th International Agricultural Technology Exhibition in May.

According to Ynet news, organizers of the exposition were taken aback when they were contacted by the Iranians who expressed interest in coming to the fair to purchase hothouse equipment.

Iran and Israel have no diplomatic ties.

Israel is celebrated for its agriculture technologies and exports its know how to countries around the globe.

Agritech is one of the world’s most important exhibitions in the field of agricultural technologies. Some 200 companies are expected to showcase at this year’s event.

The fair attracts thousands of people from around the world and regularly hosts Arab delegates from neighboring countries like Jordan, Iraq, United Arab Emirates and Turkey. 

The annual Agritech expo will take place May 15-17 in Tel Aviv.
