Tel Aviv is also described by the internet news site as resembling “Miami with its high-end clubs, posh restaurants and affluent locals.”

Other sea-and-sun spots to make it into the Top Eight included Boracay, the Philippines; Ibiza, Spain; Zanzibar, Tanzania; Koh Phangan, Thailand; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Surfer’s Paradise, Australia and South Beach, Miami, USA.
