Whether it’s reducing energy consumption, conserving water or recycling waste, Israel’s designers and architects are taking on a whole new set of building practices in developments going up in the country today.

ISRAEL21c reporter Viva Sarah Press gets to the heart of these new challenges with some of the leaders in this field in the studio at TLV1 Radio.

Guests on the show are Michal Bitterman, chair and founding member of the Israel Green Building Council; Eran Kaftan, director of the architectural and consulting firm Research & Ecodesign (RecoD); and Omri Yadin, project manager at Kibbutz Neot Smadar.
