The best presents are those that keep on giving. And for musician Omri Anghel, an Israeli in New York who uploaded a video of his Middle Eastern take on the Beatles’ best hits, this “gift” to the social media world just keeps on racking up hits.

The music video spoof shows Anghel – decked out in Christmas sweaters — singing Beatles lyrics with a Middle Eastern sound. One lyric comes from “Hello, Goodbye,” and the next from “Ticket to Ride” or “Yellow Submarine.”

“Eleanor Rigby” is replaced with Elinor Levi, the Israeli cousin Rigby never knew existed.

Anghel writes that he created the jokey video with a handful of other Israeli friends to celebrate the end of 2016 and the Christmas/Hanukkah season.

Anghel, who works at Interlude Interactive Video Technology, posted his latest comedic video on Christmas Day. It went viral immediately.

And this nonsense video keeps on attracting likes, comments and shares. Watch and let us know what you think in the comments below.
